Crestview
Crestview is a neighborhood with loads of charm. Its tree-lined streets and bungalow style homes are hard to beat. When I am in this neighborhood I see many of the residents walking with strollers or pets. Crestview is home of the iconic Minimax grocery store which has been there longer than I can remember. It is one of the few neighborhood style grocery stores left. Crestview has a very active neighborhood association that really banned together when a large box retailer threatened its sleepy community. Brentwood Park is one of the amenities Crestview has to offer. Brentwood has over 9 acres of parkland that includes a swimming pool, basketball, tennis and volleyball courts. Crestview’s newest addition is a stop on our new metro rail.
Crestview features bungalow style homes from the 50’s. You will find many opportunities to remodel a smaller home and most of the lots are large allowing the opportunity to add on in many cases. The average size of these homes are approximately 1100 sq. ft. and come with only 1 bath and typically just a carport or 1 car garage. Of course if remodeling is not your thing there are many other opportunities to find a home that has already been upgraded. Price ranges are from $185K – $400K.
