Clarksville

In my opinion this is the closest neighborhood to a walking neighborhood that Austin has to offer.
On the main street of West Lynn you can find a grocery store, drug store, coffee shop, cleaners, deli, restaurants and more.  In this neighborhood you are on the edge of downtown with access to Whole Foods, REI and other shopping.  For the active lifestyle you are a short distance to the Town Lake and Shoal Creek trails – both of which are great for running, cycling or a stroll with your pet.  This neighborhood also has two parks – Clarksville Park and West Austin Park.  I really like all the charm this neighborhood has to offer.
Clarksville has a historic aspect and boosts older homes that were built beginning in the ’20s but also has a variety of other homes to choose from.  You will find properties ranging from bungalows, newly built single family homes, condos and apartments.  There is a big price range in this neighborhood from $130K for a 600 sq. ft. condo to $1.8M for a 4000 sq. ft. remodeled home.

Clarksville Location

Clarksville is loosely boundaried by Enfield, Mopac, S. Lamar and W. 6th St.
From Mopac, exit east on Enfield.  Turn right on to West Lynn.
