Allandale

This is a great north-central neighborhood that provides an urban alternative for families who want to be close to downtown and still have a sense of a suburban community without the commute.  The neighborhood features a lot of local businesses, eateries and shopping.  You will often see many cyclists taking advantage of the numerous biking lanes incorporated into the streets.  Allandale has the famed Shoal Creek that runs through the neighborhood and do know that it can be prone to flash flooding.  Northwest Park is a City of Austin park located within Allandale with more than 30 acres designated parkland.  This park features baseball fields, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, swimming pool, playgrounds, picnic tables and more.
Allandale features ranch style homes built from the 50’s. This area features an ample number of one story homes. Price ranges from $200K for original featured homes up to $600K for remodeled homes.
