Tarrytown

Tarrytown is often referred to as one of Austin’s prestigious addresses.  This central Austin neighborhood enjoys easy access to downtown and Austin’s nightlife.  This is one of Austin’s older neighborhoods that has seen a lot of transformation over the recent years.  This neighborhood coined the term McMansion when developers began building towering homes next to the smaller original style homes.  When living in Tarrytown you feel like you are in a small city within a large city.  Tarrytown boasts local boutique shopping, eateries as well as its own library.  On the edge of Tarrytown you will find Lions Municipal golf course as well as Deep Eddy pool which is one of Austin’s spring fed pools. During the summer months the Deep Eddy has special events such as movie night.
