Bouldin Creek

Bouldin Creek Neighborhood is another one of Austin’s funky hoods.  This neighborhood is part of the 78704 zip code where the slogan is “78704 is not just a zip code but a way of life”.
You will find a variety of styles of living here from bungalows, tear downs, condos, remodeled and new builds.  From parts of Bouldin you can walk to Town Lake, Palmer Events Center and downtown.  Bouldin features small local businesses like Mexican bakeries, coffee shops, restaurants and more. The city just shut down the local post office and is in the process of building a new public library at the corner of 5th St. and Mary.  Quietly sitting among the residential homes is one of Austin’s historic restaurants, Green Pastures.  The setting is an old Victorian home where Austinites can dine in style.  The venue is also famed for weddings and corporate events.
This neighborhood has something that should appeal to everyone from small bungalow style homes to large single family homes. You can also find traditional condos and apartments as well as duplex/condo conversions.  This area has seen a regentrification over the past few years.  Price ranges are between $100K for a 400 sq. ft. condo – $1.2M for a newly built single family home.
